Again a nationwide 24-hour lock down for several weeks. Our field work has again forced to stop. We had just started working with 2 teams in 2 provinces. The teams are not allowed to cross the province borders, therefore they are obliged to stay at the current project location. We cannot supply materials. The men can’t go back to their families. It’s waiting and waiting… Still the vaccination process on going in Sri Lanka …..

At the KSLF office in Negombo we are daily approached by families, social workers for support through food packages. Many poor families have nothing to eat, the need is great! KSLF regularly provides food packages for the poorest families in Negombo. 1 food package / 1 family / 1 week costs 4,000 slr (€ 17).
